- July 14, 2010: Aerospace corporation CAE Launches Assent software across supply chain.
 CAE Corporation based in Montreal Canada has signed on to a 3 year regulatory support contract with Assent Compliance. Assent will serve as the primary software and service provider to support CAE's REACH compliance initiative.
CAE is a world leader in providing simulation and modelling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation industry and defence forces around the globe. With annual revenues exceeding C$1.5 billion, CAE employs more than 7,000 people at more than 100 sites and training locations in more than 20 countries.
- July 14, 2010: 5 Substances Added to the Registry of Intentions.
Five Substances have been added to the Intentions for Proposals for Substances
of Very High Concern. Austria and Germany have listed their intentions to submit Annex XV dossiers as proposals to add five new substances to the REACH list of substances subject to
Authorization.
The substances are:
- Substance Name CAS No.
- 2-Ethoxyethanol
- 2-Methoxyethanol
- 1,2,4 Trichlorobenzene
- 1,2,3 Trichlorobenzene
- 1,3,5 Trichlorobenzene
- 8 SVHC's added to Candidate list
- EU to add 106 substances to SVHC list by 2012
